Most gauging problems do not have a catalogue answer. A component arrives with six diameters that have to be held to a micron, a cycle time that leaves fifteen seconds for inspection, and an operator who should not have to interpret anything. That is the work.
We handle it end to end. Fixture design, gauging electronics, panel building, PLC programming and the SPC software are all done by the same team in the same building — which is why a gauge for a part nobody else measures is a normal week here rather than a special project.
The range runs from a hand-held air plug gauge to a fully automatic machine that picks the part up, gauges it, marks it and sorts it without an operator touching it. Fifty-nine of them are in service.
